As part of the visit, the delegation received a guided tour through Amatheon Agri Uganda’s production processes, including the superfoods warehouse, the state-of-the-art drying and cleaning technologies as well as the newly set up Moringa facility in order to increase the understanding of the company’s activities.
H.E. Mr Schauer reaffirmed the commitment of the Germany Embassy to support and collaborate with German founded companies in Uganda, and expressed his appreciation for the work that Amatheon Agri Uganda has been doing in Northern Uganda. Moreover, he pledged to write an official letter to Rural Electrification Agency to ensure electricity connection to Amatheon Agri’s farm.
