In order to meet international food safety standards for trading activities, Amatheon Trading GmbH undertook the International Featured Standard (IFS) Broker certification process in 2019. Since then, the company had completed the annual IFS Broker audits in order to be officially accredited as a trader for dry products, cereal products and oil seeds. From 2023, with the production focus being redirected to rather locally and regionally commercialized crops, the certification process has been put on hold to be reactivated again if required.
