Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Supervisor for our Zambian operations.

Responsibilities

  • generate Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for stock received
  • ensure that all issued items are authorized and captured in SAGE
  • ensure all SIVS and supplier invoices are filed and submitted on time
  • provide complete monthly stock count sheets to cost accountant
  • ensure processing of all approved Purchase Orders
  • inform suppliers on any discrepancy between orders and deliveries
  • ensure stock and bin cards are up to date
  • ensure that inventory items are ordered as soon as they reach reorder level and purchase requisition
  • line management of junior staff

Qualification and Experience

  • diploma in Purchase and Supply
  • member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
  • track record of profit-loss accountability in previous farm setups
  • 5 years experience in Purchase and Supply
  • literate in usage of Microsoft Office
  • effective leader and team player

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant for our Zambian farming operations.  The accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • capture daily time sheets into micro pay/farming module for operations
  • ensure all payroll additions are approved by Head of Finance before processing and fully supported by labor requisition, engagement letter or contract of employment from Head of HR
  • generate and submit payroll and payroll statutory reports (PAYE & NAPSA)
  • update of leave adjustments for staff
  • manage all procedures around payroll schedules, approval, reporting and reconciliation
  • managing database systems for accurate computation of wages and salaries

Qualification and Experience

  • ACCA level II or equivalent
  • 3 years hands-on financial experience, preferably in agricultural environment
  • self-starter with a clear focus on effective planning, time management and decision-making
  • literate around Microsoft office, micro-pay, dove, sage evolution and VIP
  • effective leader and team player
